Hepititus can affect the liver in two ways. Acute hepititus is where the liver is inflamed quickly, the other is chronic hepititus where the liver is inflamed and damaged over a long time scale. The liver is responsible for the metabolism of many of the 'social' and more dangerous drugs that some people use. Combinations of these factors can lead to acute liver failure and death.

How to complete the test

Simply telephone the helpline in your kit to arrange for a blood sample to be taken from our network of private surgeries and hospitals. You can also have your blood sample collected from your home address.

Your results can then be obtained 5 days after we recieve your test simply and anonymously by entering your user id and password in our log in section.

This test consists of all the items needed to complete a blood test at our laboratory, the Gold Standard in this type of testing. This includes full instructions, the test components and details on how to visit one of our network of private hopsitals and surgeries where your blood will be collected by trained personel. The kit itselft is double wrapped in case the package is damaged in transit and a security seal must be broken to use the test. The package itself is completely discreet with no external marking of Veolabs.

How does the test work?

Your test is based upon a blood sample There is no more to pay as the test is completely self contained.

How do I receive my results?

Your results will be available for you 5 days after your test is received at our laboratory. Your results will be available to view on our secure server 24 hours a day by entering the results page on our website.

You will need to enter your unique customer ID and code which you will receive with your test to retrieve your results. These will be displayed on the screen along with information pertinant to the test results. Your name and address will be withheld from the report to allow your complete anonimity. Only you and our laboratory know the unique combination of customer ID and code.
