Liver Profile~The Liver Function Test (LFT)is a group of tests specifically focussed on the operation of the liver by examing its core functionality in the body's function.

Included in this test is a telephone follow-up by one of our fully trained medical practitioners able to explain the results of your test report. The test results should also be discussed with your own GP or medical advisor.

How to complete the test

Simply telephone the helpline in your kit to arrange for a blood sample to be taken from our network of private surgeries and hospitals. You can also have your blood sample collected from your home address at an additional cost by selecting 'Add home visit' on check out.

Your results can then be obtained 5 days after we recieve your test simply and anonymously by entering your user id and password in our log in section.

This test consists of all the items needed to complete a PCR test at our laboratory, the Gold Standard in this type of testing. This includes full instructions, the test components and a reply paid envelope to our laboratory. It is double wrapped in case the package is damaged in transit and a security seal must be broken to use the test. The package itself is completely discreet with no external marking of Veolabs.

How does the test work?

Your test is based upon a urine sample which you provide for us at home and send back to our laboratory using the reply paid envelope included. There is no more to pay as the test is completely self contained.

How do I receive my results?

Your results will be available for you 48 hours after your test is received at our laboratory. Your results will be available to view on our secure server 24 hours a day by entering the results page on our website.

You will need to enter your unique customer ID and code which you will receive with your test to retrieve your results. These will be displayed on the screen along with information pertinant to the test results. Your name and address will be withheld from the report to allow your complete anonimity. Only you and our laboratory know the unique combination of customer ID and code. After 7 days your information will be removed from our server for your security.~Liver profile|VEO-LVP|~1016~1017~~
